Introduction: Unusual Use of CDs & Ice Cream Sticks in Making Cycle Working Model

What can be done using old CDs?

This instructable is about unusual use of old CDs & ice cream sticks.

Supplies

  1. Old CDs
  2. Ice cream Sticks
  3. Glue
  4. Pins
  5. Cutter
  6. Coloring Material (Sketch Pen Set).
  7. Foam Materiel

Step 1: Rear Wheel of Cycle Step1

  1. Take two ice cream sticks & reduce their length such that their length should be 1cm more than radius of CD.
  2. Attach two ice cream sticks on two sides of CD at the center hole using pins as shown in above.
  3. Make sure to keep one foam piece on both sides of hole.
  4. This foam piece should be large than CD hole. Foam piece will help CD to act as wheel & help to role CDs as wheel.

Step 2: Rear Wheel of Cycle Step 2

Attach two more ice cream sticks of same length on both side as shown above.

Step 3: Rear Wheel of Cycle Step 3

Add one more full ice cream stick joining these four sticks as shown. For connecting use pins at the joining point.

Step 4: Rear Wheel With Seat

Add small piece of ice cram stick using glue as seat of cycle.

Step 5: Connecting Rod of Two Wheels

Attach two more sticks as shown to make connecting rod of two wheels.

Step 6: Front Wheel With Handle

  1. Attach front wheel as shown using pins
  2. Finally attach two small pieces using glue as a handle of cycle.

Step 7: Colored Cycle Model

Decorate CD cycle using color sketch pens.
