Introduction: Up Up and Away

My daughter loves the movie Up and wanted to be the house in the movie for halloween. At first I thought she was crazy but then I decided to give it a shot. It wasn't too hard! I used a medium cardboard box, a smaller box for the roof awning and for the porch and also for the two dormers on the roof and the bay windows. I used pastel construction paper to cover the sides of the house and to make the windows and doors and the foundation of the house. I used popsicle sticks to make the porch, railings, door frame, and steps. I used a sewing bobbin and green yarn for the hose. I used black posterboard for the roof. The whole project cost me eleven dollars and took me about a week to fininsh.
