About: "I am a crafty girl. I make things. Lots of things. I'll keep making things until my fingers fall off. Then I will grab my hot glue gun reattach those suckers & Make More Things." Kathy R. Jeffor…

Nothing better than having some delicious ramen when watching your favorite K-drama. Follow my tips to upgrade your ramen from just ok to gourmet

Supplies

Package of ramen

All of these are to taste and optional so you could decide to put more or less than what I prefer.

4 garlic cloves
1 Onion (or 3 green onions)
Ginger root
Bacon bits
Mushrooms
Olive oil
2 eggs
Chives
Avocado
Soy sauce
Your favorite hot sauce

Step 1:

Start by boiling the amount of water recommended by your specific ramen package. (For extra flavor cook your ramen in chicken broth instead of water)

Once boiling add ramen noodles and let cook for 2 minutes on high. Make sure to break up the noodles with a spoon once they are soft enough

Lower the temperature to medium heat and crack 2 eggs into the pot.

Stir occasionally but be careful not to break up the eggs

Let cook 6+ minutes until the eggs are cooked

Step 2:

Wash your ginger root and peel off the outer layer. Mince the amount you want and set aside

Peel your onion and chop 1/4 of it up. Set aside.

Wash your mushrooms and chop them up into slices

Peel the garlic and mince it

Add olive oil to your pan and combine the garlic, ginger root, onion, & mushrooms and let cook on medium high heat. Stirring occasionally

When your onions are soft and you can tell they are cooked add your bacon bits. However much you want. I usually add a couple tablespoons.

Turn the heat off and let sit until the ramen and eggs are done

Step 3:

Once your eggs are cooked add in the ramen flavor packet and the contents of your pan. Pour in some soy sauce and hot sauce to taste and stir until combined

Step 4:

You can serve with fresh chives and sliced avocado if you so desire or without. However you prefer.
