Introduction: Using a VU Meter With an Arduino

Many of us have found ourselves with old technology which we'd want to breathe life back into again. In this case we have an old VU meter, essentially a volume indicator, which we're trying to get moving again. It's a fairly easy process, using a little bit of soldering and programming.

Materials

Arduino board, in this case the Arduino UNO
Breadboard
Two 10kOhm potentiometers
18kOhm resistor
Zener diode

Tools

Soldering iron
