VR CNC Plaque

Making plaques on a CNC mill can be pretty cool. I decided to try designing one in VR for a challenge. Here are my results.

Step 1: Step 1: Design

I opened up sketchbox and added some text for the plaque. I added some calligraphy type squiggles to liven it up a bit. I took a picture of this and exported it to CorrelDraw. I cleaned it up and reduced it to just lines for the CNC mill to trace.

Step 2: Step 2: Mill

Next I uploaded it to Easel to print on the CNC. I moved the processed image onto the GUI and centered it before cutting. After about 20 minutes these were my results
