Introduction: "Vanillekipferl" - Cookies

The "Vanillekipferl" are my favourite cookies!

Supplies

- 270g flour

- 130g sugar

- 2 packs vanilla sugar

- 200g butter

- 100g ground hazelnuts

Step 1:

Knead the flour, 80 grams of sugar, ground hazelnuts and the butter. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2:

Shape the dough into a roll and cut it every 2 inches (5cm). Now shape the cut pieces into the shape of a moon as shown in the picture.

Step 3:

Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C) upper and lower heat and put in your “Vanillekipferl” for 15 min.

While waiting the 15 minutes prepare a sugar dip by mixing 50g of sugar and the 2 packs of vanilla sugar.

Step 4:

After taking out the “Vanillekipferl” let them cool down, so that you can touch them an dip them into the sugar mix.
