Step 1: Peel Them Vegetables
Peel Potatoes and Carrots. More Carrots equal deeper "cheese" Color. I'd start with a 1 to 4 ratio of carrots to potatoes.
Step 2: Chop Them Vegetables
Make the newly peeled vegetables into manageable sizes
Step 3: Boil Them!
Boil the carrots and potatoes until Soft
Step 4: Blend Them!
Blend the carrots, the potatoes, and the nutritional yeast. If it gets to dry and clumpy. add your milk of choice VERY SLOWLY. Fully blend before adding more liquid. It WILL thicken upon cooling.
Step 5: Taste Them!
At this time its a good time to taste your invention. You will absolutely need to add salt. Traditional cheese is surprisingly salty. So add salt. taste. then inevitably, add more salt. the amount of salt will directly correspond with your amount of Nutritional yeast and amount of Vegetables. Blend. and adjust accordingly.
Step 6: Season Them!
Add your garlic powder, and other seasonings you wish to try. Blend well each time.
Step 7: Chill Them
If all your random adding of ingredients has been nice to you, then you can then transfer your chez to separate container and chill it. It wont be hard. but it'll be slice'able.
Step 8: Vote Them!
Hit the voting thing for the contest? or not. I had fun any way. Neuro'Divergent for the win!
