Wanting a dairy free answer to that lovely dish Mac and Cheese? This dish hits the cheesy taste spot utilizing nutritional yeast! It's also really simple to make, taking about 10 minutes.

Also this recipe is vegan AND gluten free! Dietary restrictions FTW!

Step 1: Ingredients

For this you will need

Pasta of your choice (i got gluten free pasta)
2 tbsp Vegan Margarine or Olive Oil
1 tbsp Braggs
4 tbsp or more of Nutritional Yeast
1/2 c. blanched almonds ( i got mine preblanched and chopped, you can blanch your own)

Step 2: Boil Some Water for Pasta

First boil some water for pasta, and start the pasta cooking. The pasta will cook while you are making the sauce.

If you need some help with cooking pasta, check out this lifehacker article I ran into the other week.

Step 3: Blend the Almonds

Using warmed margarine or oil, blend the almonds in a food processor until well pulped. They should get nice and creamy. If they are having trouble, add some water.

Step 4: Add Nutritional Yeast

Add the nutritional yeast and blend a bunch more. it should be very creamy like alfredo sauce. Add pepper and braggs to taste.

Step 5: Blend With Pasta

Once your pasta is done, drain it and put it in a bowl. The cover the pasta with the sauce and mix throughly. The pasta should be totally enveloped with gooey fake cheesiness.

Step 6: Serve Immediately!

Warning, this pasta will be very tasty, I've eaten myself sick on  the stuff. It really hits the spot. I added some sliced tomato to give a bit of veggies to it. You could add basil or any other veggies you want.
