Vernier Caliper

It's a cheap vernier caliper for home use.

Don't worry it's exact. (:

What we need :

MDF 3.0 mm sheet. about 30×20 cm

(2) M3 × 6 mm bolts

(4) M3 × 9 mm bolts

(6) M3 nuts

Step 1: Edit Print File

You can download .dxf file and add numbers.

Sorry I don't know how can I do it in Solidworks. |:

Notice : It has two veriner if you want to use both vernier at the same time should edit file.

Step 2: Glue the Nuts in Holes

Step 3: Assembly

I hope picture is clear enough.

Step 4: Calibrate

Tight the screws but not very tighten.

Close caliper jaws and set zero line of verniers in the front of zero line of ruler.

Tight the screws. (:
