Very Useless Box

A useless box is what it's name is you have a switch and if you flick the switch a lever comes out of the box and flicks the switch off. it's very point less but fun to use this is a guide on how to build a useless box and what tools you will need.

Supplies

You will Need

A box to put all your components in 180mmw, 80mmH, 80mmL

wires

switch

Limit switch

2XAA Battery mount

Two AA battery's

solder

soldering iron

motor with reducer

Step 1: Start to Solder

Start by Soldering your switch to the wires, and only solder the two wires to the two middle pins

Step 2: Connected the Motor

using the two wires that you solder onto the switch their will be a connection point Like the picture. The two copper connections

Step 3: More Wires

Now you are going to get a long wire in the example I had one 150mm white wire, but then cut the wire in half and then you wrap one end of bothe wires to gather than solder them together, this will create a connection point, after you create a connection point solder one end of you wire to the top right pin of your switch. (Make should it's not the middle connection)

Step 4: Connect Your Battery Pack

Now you are going to solder your battery pack, solder the black wire or your negative wire and solder it to the middle connection that you made before than solder your red wire or positive wire to the right bottom pin

Step 5: Small Wire

get a small wire 50mm at most and solder it to the top left and the bottom right pins

Step 6: Solder the Limit Switch

get a wire I used a black one and solder it to the bottom pin switch and then solder it to your last pin on your normal switch and then solder the last wire that connects the battery pack and switch solder the last end to the top pin on your limit switch.

Step 7: Start to Make Your Box

I started by making my box, using plywood cut outs and pva glue to stick and then I used sticky tape to hold the box as the glue was still drying

Step 8: Make the Box Functional

get a small hinge and use rivets to attach to the box

Step 9: Last Compounds

I 3D printed a bracket to attack the motor and limit switch so the arm can Funchion
