Vintage Pin / Button Wall Art

Add some color to your space by turning a collection of colorful buttons and pins into 3D artwork!

Step 1: Materials

Here's what you will need to make it...

• a picture frame
• a collection of vintage pins and buttons (you can find these around your house or at a local flea market)
• fabric or linen
• scissors
• glue gun

Step 2: Prep Frame

Carefully take out the glass and cover the backing with a piece of fabric or linen. I used a white linen napkin because the black frame being used will pop out against the white.

Step 3: Add Pins

Now, you can plan your arrangement for your pins and buttons and hot glue them on. You can use as many as you like, depending on the size of your picture frame. My frame is 11 x 14 inches, so I was able to fit a lot of the bigger pins within that size.

Step 4: Ready to Display

Now, it's ready for display! This wall art has some 3D effect, and lots of bright colors! I will add some more pins and buttons later on. In the meantime, check out this awesome gallery of some of my favorite pins and buttons from throughout my childhood!

Note: This makes for a great gift for birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions, when you want to add some color and vintage style into their lives!
