Intro: Voting System by Using 4-bits Parallel Adder

Hello! friends

Welcome to my another voting system by using 4-bits parallel adder project. It's a topic of Digital And Logic Design by Morris Mano (fifth edition) with the help of this project you'll know how voting system works in reality.

So let's get started.

STEP 1: Circuit Diagram

With the help of this diagram we can build our own voting system project very easily. Just follow the diagram very carefully. Let me tell you something at the pin 14 of 74ls47 a 330 ohm resistor is attached with 7 segment led's which is not mention in a diagram by mistake.

STEP 2: Materials

You'll need

Ic's: (74hc283 x 2), 74ls47 with x3 16 pin bases and Lm7805 (regulator)

Veroboard

Some pieces of jumper wires

Solder

Led's: (red x 4), (Green x 6)

7 segment led's x 2 (Anode)

Resistor's: (330 ohms x 12), (1 k x 7)

Switches: spst x 7

STEP 3: Component Placing

Place the components according to the diagram on veroboard and soldering it.

STEP 4: Soldering and Jumper Wires

This is the back view of voting system project with some solder and jumper wires.

STEP 5: Finish

After completing the all steps it's look like this and ready to use. In next step a small video about voting system.

STEP 6: Video

Here it's the video watch it carefully and you'll know how it's work.

Thanks for watching.

I hope you guys like it. I'll be back with some new awesome projects.

I did not find the video at the 6th step, please can you reupload it!

IS IT USEFULL EVEN FOR A DMX ADDRESS?

Just my failed attempt at some levity. In Part 2 you said:

"You'll need

Ic's: (74ls283 x 2), 74ls47 with x2 16 pin bases and Lm7805 (regulator)..."

It did not match with your layout.

Oh thanks now I know what you mean I wrote 2 bases except 3 in step 2 k I'll improve it thanks bro.

Just to show you I really read these things, where did you hide the 2nd 74LS47? You said we needed two in Step 2 but only one appears in the schematic and your layout.

I'm using two 74ls283 and 1 74ls47 where is the hidden 74ls47
