Introduction: Wal-Mart Mace ( for Your Personal Safety )
Not sure if this is an acceptable post and I really didnt invent anything. I just found out something the hard way that became a concept for a cheap alternative to mace for a persons personal safety. I figured I'd pass on what happened and what I learned.
Last week while cleaning the carbuerator in my older car, with carb cleaner I caught a spray back that sprayed right in my eyes.. Wow, did it burn and disorient me.. After cleaning my eyes out, I thought what a great cheap alternative to mace that is readily available. The can, can spray 6' to 8' feet in a stream without the red tube attached and it costs about $2.00 dollars at Wal-Mart. I would imagine starter fluid would work as well. Keep a can in your car and in your house at the ready for personal protection. Keep a can in the backpack or camp to fend of bears when you go hiking or camping..
