Introduction: Wall Photo Display

In this Instructable I will show you how to mount pictures on your wall in a checkered board way so that it isn't just a blank wall anymore. Materials: 18- 4x3 photos A roll of blue painters tape A tape measure

Step 1: Lay It Out

First thing to do is to take all the pictures you want to use and lay them out on the floor just like you want them on the wall. Then measure the height and width of the whole thing. Remember to lay them out as if it were a checkered board, leaving a space the size of a photo after every one.

Step 2: Make Guidelines

Next take your painters tape and make a box on your wall that is the size of the height and width of your photo checkard board on the inside of the tape. Make sure you get it straight by using a level or plum line. You may also want to use the tape measure to get it centered where you want it.

Step 3: Add the Tape

This step is fairly easy, just take a piece of painters tape about two inches long and roll it like you would do to hang a poster. Put one of these pieces of tape on each corner of the picture, make sure that when it is pressed up against the wall it will not show over the corner.

Step 4: Add the Photos to the Wall

After outing tape on the back of the picture put it up on the wall starting with the top left corner. Be careful to place it so that it is straight with your guidelines.

Step 5: Add the Spacer and Next Photo

Now you will need to take a bad picture that you will not use and use it as a spacer, place it against the right edge of the last photo and line it up with the top guideline and temporarily stick it to the wall. Add the next photo directly underneath the spacer.

Step 6: Move Spacer and Add Next Photo

Now move the spacer to the right edge of the last photo and add the next photo directly above it. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have four photos on the top row and three on the next row.

Step 7: Add the Next Rows

Add three additional rows using the method in steps 5 and 6.

Step 8: Your Done!

After finishing the final row remove the guidelines and your left with the finished product. I hope y'all like how it comes out.
