I started to feel comfy enough to decorate my livingroom. Most people have this predetermined layout, color scheme and overall idea of what the outcome was going to be. I decided to roll with what I had already. Gold and Black. First i spray painted my shelves black gold and threw some silver in, then i hacked down a piece of work board painted it gold and silver and mod podged a large picture on it then started hanging things in a pretty manner. Then I decided i needed a little more... Something was missing. Wall Flowers!!!!

Supplies Needed:

Paper Towel or Toilet Paper Tubes

Hot Glue

Spray paint of your choice of color

Clear Thumb tacks for hanging

Step 1: Cut Your Paper Towel or Toilet Paper Tubes Down.

First I cut up a bunch of paper towel tubes into roughly an inch wide little tubes and pinched then down. I knew there was a reason I saved them all. Paper towel tubes get roughly 2 five leaf flowers.

Step 2: Gather Your Supplies Near Your Work Station.

I use a muffin tin to hold it all and it is fantastic for just dropping your glue gun into. Did you know that Dollar Tree sells twenty packs of hot glue sticks?

Step 3: Start Glueing

I found that the easiest way to do this without the glue hardening was to hold my next piece just below where I am glueing. Then after applying a line of glue I would slide the next piece up across the glue and pinch. As you can see here not every piece is the same size. That is just fine unless you are OCD.

Step 4: PINCH!

Pinch them to death until it dries. Honestly like 2 or 3 seconds. See how pretty it is.

Step 5: Now You Decide.

You can either glue them together now. Or wait until after you paint them. I chose to paint them first because i wanted to do gold, silver, and black.

Step 6: Extras

You can also add decorative pieces too. Either leaves can be added by places more of your loops on the already made flowes or you can cut em down the middle and wrap em around your finger to create swirls.

Step 7: Finished!!

As I said i painted first. then you pretty much start glueing pieces together.... the more glue the better. I then used nails bent away from the flowers to hold it up. I will later be buying a box of clear thumb tacks to use instead so I can stick multiple tacks in.

Step 8: ADDED STEPS!

Another option instead of the large wall flower is to break them up into smaller projects. You can also add them into an old picture frame. I personally like the Picture frame touch.
