Introduction: Wardrobe Hanger Organizer
I made these wardrobe hanger organizer so I could fit more clothes in the wardrobe.
Supplies
Old curtain liner
Pencil or marker
Scissors
Tape
Velcro
Sewing machine (or hand sewing)
Step 1: Setting Out
Cut out a 30 x 4 inches rectangle on your old curtain liner.
Fold into 2 along the longer side, with the backing on the outside.
Sew around, leaving one small side open.
Turn sewing inside out.
Iron to keep the sides flat.
Step 2: Attaching Velcro
Measure and mark out 6 inches from the open end.
Attach Velcro to the start and end of the 6 inch mark so that the organizer can loop over your wardrobe bar (you may need to make adjustments depending on the size of your wardrobe bar).
Step 3: Making the Loops
Measure 3.5 inches from the other end and fold to form a loop (green fold).
Sew across the fold edge(red lines) to keep the loop in place.
Measure 6 inches from each preceding loop.
Fold to loop (blue folds).
Sew across fold edge (orange lines) to keep the loop in place.
Step 4: Ready to Use
Strap the organizer over your wardrobe bar.
Secure the organizer with the Velcro.
Organizer is ready for use.
Each organizer will hold 4 hangers (via loops).
