Washi Tape Covered Light Switch Plate

This light switch plate covered in washi tape can be a lovely accent to any room. It is also very easy to make and can be done with any colors.

Supplies

All you need is:

1 light switch cover

scissors

washi tape (2 colors or more)

a pencil

Step 1: Wrapping With the Tape

Start by diagonally wrapping the light switch cover in tape. Make the strips of tape a little longer than the part you are going to see and then fold the ends around the edge.

Step 2: Punching Out the Holes

As you wrap the cover you will cover up the holes. Use a pencil to open up the round holes and for the rectangular holes, cut the tape and then wrap it around the back.

Step 3: Finished!

You are now finished! If you want, you could also make matching outlet covers.
