A nice and easy summer drink that is cool and refreshing. Its great for cooling off in the intense heat.

STEP 1: Ingredients
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
Chilled watermelon
1 tablespoon lime juice
What I used:
Sauce pan
Small bowl
Large bowl
Baking pan
Plastic wrap
Magic Bullet or Blender
Spatula
Knife

STEP 2: Dissolve Sugar
Pour the 1/3 water and 1/4 sugar into a sauce pan at low heat, stir until sugar is dissolved.
STEP 3: Chill the Syrup (dissolved Sugar and Water)
Pour the syrup into the small bowl, and place the small bowl with the syrup in the larger bowl that is filled with cold water and ice, stir syrup until cooled.
STEP 4: Watermelon
Cut the watermelon into chunks, amount is to your pleasing.
STEP 5: Blend
Use your Magic Bullet or blender to puree the watermelon.
STEP 6: Add Syrup and Lime Juice
Add the syrup and the lime juice to the puree (blended) of watermelon. Then re-blend with syrup and lime in.
STEP 7: Pour Into Baking Pan
After everything is well blended pour the mixture into a baking pan and then cover with plastic wrap.
Then put in the freezer to freeze.

STEP 8: Scrape the Watermelon Ice
Use a fork to scrape the watermelon to lighten the texture then put in a small glass. Then add more water to fill the glass or Sprite or some sort of alcohol, whatever you prefer. Then stir it a little.
Finish with a little slice of watermelon with the rind (watermelon skin) still attached.

can you also boil up 1/3 of a cup of water in a water boiler and then desolve the sugar in to so you dont need to use a pan?

if you boil some water throw it in a glass with the sugar and stir it it won't dissolve all the way but if you throw it in the microwave and stir every 30 seconds it will dissolve

I bought a watermelon yesterday to see what it taste like but
it wasn't really that so I saw this and made it and it was delicious!
Only took 5min of my time to make this, perfect!
