This process defines the core requirements to safely complete an "In Home" white glove delivery of boxed upholstery.

Supplies

Step 1: Call Ahead

Call customer 30 min before arrival to ensure they are expecting you.

Knock on the door upon arrival and greet the customer.

Use a lift gate to lower the product to the ground safely.

Open the box using a safety cutter and remove items from the cardboard box.

Lift items using a two-person team and move the item to the front door.

Set the item down and put on shoe covers to protect the flooring.

Remove foam packaging using a safety cutter.

Attach feet to the item using #2 Philips head screw driver.

Attached seatbacks as needed and place in the final location.

Have the customer sign Bill of Lading, thank them, and depart.
