Introduction: Witch's Fingers

About: I am a 14-year-old from Hannover, Germany and I am interested in sciences and mathematics. I reales like engineering, mathematics and programming and I have a really cute 5-year old Danish-Swedish Farmdog.

Not only do thes fingers taste great, but they also look nice and spooky.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g soft butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 330 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 TBSP. Raspberry jam without seeds
  • 24 whole almonds

Step 1: Make the Dough

Mix the butter and sugar together with a hand mixer, stir in the egg. Mix flour with salt and stir in. Then knead.

Step 2: Peel the Almonds

Put the almonds in boiling water for a few minutes. Then peel off the skin.

Step 3: Form the Fingers

Divide the dough into about 24 equal pieces.

Then use three fingers to roll the dough. Form a finger-like shape.

Next, use a knife and cut three wrinkles at the joints.

At last, dip an almond in the jam and press it onto one end.

Step 4: Bake the Fingers

Preheat your oven to 180° Celsius and fan oven. Then put the fingers on a tray in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
