Introduction: Word Detector

About: Hey ;) I like being creative, so I joined this website :)

Hey! So I decided to come up with an idea for my own software. I haven't started to develop it yet but maybe so when I am experienced and advanced in a lot of programming languages.

The steps will tell you how you would use it (and more!) but let me give a brief explanation here first:

Basically, I came up with an idea of a software on a device that could detect the words you say. You add the names of the people you want on the software to detect words of and then when you say something, it records the last thing said and the name of the person who said it.

Cool, right?

Step 1: How to Use It (In Steps)

Step 1.

You'd set it up by entering the names on the software and pressing a button on so that it could detect sound and words.

Step 2.

You'd need to leave your device in a reasonably positioned place next.

Step 3.

You should start speaking and then the software will do it's job by recording your name and what you say.

NOTE: Every time someone says something new, the previous saying will move down slightly to make space for the most recent saying.

Step 2: Reasons Why It'd Be Useful

I could list quite a few reasons why it'd be useful.

First, let's say someone was denying that they said something and you didn't have any proof, well, this software could be your proof.

Secondly, you may have forgotten something, this could remind you.

At the end of the day, it'd just be fun to mess around with and an impressive piece of technology.

Step 3: Features of This Software

Well, with this software, the features would be:

  • You could scroll up to see previous sayings
  • You could change the speed of the software
  • Detecting words
  • Recording names

And lots more!

Hope you liked my idea :D
