Step 2: Eggs and Butter
Combine the eggs and butter and mix until well blended
Step 3: Sugar Mixture
Mix together sugars, vanilla extract and pudding. The pudding mix is what really makes this recipe different as well as better than others, although in a pinch you can substitute it with an extra 1/2 cup of white sugar. Beat together with egg mixture for about 2 minutes or until well blended.
Step 4: Flour Mixture and Chocolate Chips
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add in to sugar and egg mixture until just blended. Add in chocolate chips and pecans if desired. DO NOT OVER MIX.
Step 5: Baking
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto 2 baking sheets. I have found that it usually works best when I put them in a 4x6 grid. .Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 5-7 minutes. Enjoy!
