Introduction: You Don't Expect Such a Device - Punch Force Sensor

About: My name is Wojtek and I am 21 years old student of electronic high school. I am passionate about electronics as well as recording and editing movies. I follow the rule: "Do not delay, do it today".

A few weeks ago, I made the best of my projects, a boxing machine. It was definitely not perfect and needed a few adjustments. Here they are!

Step 1: Prototype

There is no amazing story behind this project - I just always liked the boxing machines, which were located in various popular places. I decided to build mine! I was satisfied with the effects of my device. It is an interesting option for family meetings or competition among friends. It required many improvements, such as improving the design or adding sound signals and various game modes.

Step 2: Boxer 2 - Designing

In this video, you can see how I designed the second version of the boxer.

Step 3: Opening a Package

As with almost all of my projects, I used PCB from PCBWay, and they did a great job as always.

Step 4: Assembling

I created a short, 2.5-minute video presenting the process of assembling the frame. The frame consists of v-slot profiles, connectors, a hinge, and screws. I attached a boxing bulb to the frame and an electromagnetic lock that will keep it in a horizontal position.

Step 5: The Last Step

Only the housing, the Arduino program, and the assembly of the whole thing remain to be finished. Detailed description in the next article!
