Intro: Ziptie Arm Light

Here is a problem some people may have. It's dark out. You have to do a job that requires both hands. You are all by yourself. How do you hold the flashlight? Introducing the ziptie arm light. It holds your light while you work. It also solves many other problems.

STEP 1: You Will Need:

-7 zipties
-flashlight
-thumbtack or small, thin screwdriver
-scissors
-time and effort

STEP 2:

Make two loops out of two zipties each. Insert the tail of one into the slot on the other one.

STEP 3:

Pull the loops tight until they can barely slip over your hand

STEP 4:

Connect them with another ziptie loop.

STEP 5:

Attach the flashlight to the last loop. Wrap the other two zipties around the flashlight and the other loop, then tighten.

STEP 6:

Cut off all the sticking out tails.

STEP 7: Finished!

Put on a coat/sweater/long sleeve shirt. Slide the two loops on top of the sleeve. Congratulations, you can now work in the light and the light will point where you are working.

STEP 8: Problem:

The thumbtack or screwdriver is in case you tighten it too tight. Just insert it in the back above the tail. Then pull the ziptie open. Use both hands.

Why wouldn't you use a headtorch instead?
Well, if all you have is a few zipties and a flashlight, you could use this. I guess you could also make a headlamp out of zipties.
