Introduction: Arugula Salad
Arugula salad is a dead simple side dish to make - it's perfect for when you're feeling lazy or would like to feel fancy for a moment. :D
I like arugula much more than lettuce because it had loads more flavor. I make this salad all the time, it's my go-to when I realize all I've planned is to cook some meat and I can't really just serve 2 pounds of meat for dinner.
Balanced eating is a good thing, haha.
Ingredients:
Just slice the pear and veggies, break off some goat cheese and top with salt and pepper. Pour over a little bit of oil and vinegar and mix it all up. If you use a nice room temp goat cheese, it will break down and coat everything, which is lovely. :D

Rucola is another name by which this peppery treat is called. A lemon oil dressing with thyme chive and s&p to taste, topped with parmesan and toasted sunflower seeds... It's to die for.

Added "rocket" to the keywords for you, since that's what it's called over here. Confused me so much when I visited to see arugala on the board in Sammie's!

Ah, I had seen what looked like arugula on the AU and UK Masterchefs, but they didn't call it by the name I knew. Confusing, haha.
Thanks!

i ran into this fine leaf last winter and found it to very tasty indeed. Funny you make yours as i did mine except i added some blue cheese crumbles 1 teaspoon topped it off with another teaspoon of raspberry vingerette just a hint you really want to taste this leaf it has a very zingy flavor alone adding the raspberry only enhanced the flavor of this leaf. unfortunatly i have been unable to find it again .
