Clothes Peg Bulldog Clip

clothes pegs make good substitutes for bulldog clips but sometimes the wider jaws of a bulldog clip are need and cheap enough lolly sticks are free.

Step 1: Materials

two salvaged lolly sticks and a wooden clothes peg.

Step 2: Sand Parts

use sand paper to clean the lolly sticks this also aids glue adhesion. fold the sand paper over grip with the clothes peg and draw through the jaws repeat this several times this not only cleans the surface it also flattens the jaws giving a better contact area with the lolly sticks.

Step 3: Glue

place a dab of glue on each jaw and clamp on the lolly sticks. allow to dry. I used pva craft glue any other wood glue, epoxy or cyno acrylate glue would do.

Brilliantly simple! Any young kid strong enough to squeeze it open can make one then put in his or her own decorative touch to the clip.

Those crazy plastic bulldog clips (never heard 'em called that) always keep getting lost, or broken. With your solution I can have a gazillion of 'em, and if I can't find 'em, I can make a few more. I like it.
