It’s time again for the Tinkercad Student Design Contest. Check out last year’s entries here and prepare for all new categories this time around!

We are giving away two prizes of $100 gift cards for the following five categories:

Made with Math – Show math being used in some aspect of your project!

Designed for Science – Demonstrate how you’ve used Tinkercad to address a problem related to science, or for the advancement or understanding of science!

Coolest Code – To win this prize, your project should use the code editor in either Tinkercad Circuits or Codeblocks.

Tinker & Play – This prize is for any project that encourages creativity and play.

Practical Inventions – Show us an example of how you identified a problem in your home or community and used Tinkercad to help create a solution.

To enter, write an Instructable explaining how you used Tinkercad to make a project in one of the above categories!

Write an Instructable

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Aug 23, 2021 and Oct 18, 2021 (11:59pm PT).

Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Tinkercad Student Design Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.

Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.

When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
