Keep busy this summer with our Fidget Spinner Design Challenge! Try your hand at designing a fidget spinner using Tinkercad, Fusion 360, or whichever 3D modeling program you like best. Get your copy of Fusion 360; it’s free for students, educators, and hobbyists.
For this challenge, all you need to do is design a 3D-printable fidget spinner, either from scratch or based on the instructions in this Instructable. Then, enter right here on the contest page by providing the STL file you’ve created. The winners of this contest will be taking home awesome prizes from the Digital Media Academy and Ultimaker including an Ultimaker 2 GO and fun prize packs containing a t-shirt, water bottle, VR cardboard kit, stickers, and giant foam finger! As a bonus, the best use of Tinkercad will get a $300 Amazon gift card.
Put your fidgety fingers to use by picking up your mouse and designing a fidget spinner that will put others to shame.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Jun 26, 2017 and Aug 21, 2017 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Fidget Spinner Design Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
