Instructables is proud to announce its first ever Intel® IoT Invitational! We have partnered with the Intel® IoT Developer Program to offer 300 Intel® Edison development boards and IoT specialty dev kits to the amazing innovators in the Instructables community. These kits have been sent to Instructables authors around the world to seed innovation in the Internet of Things community!
We are no longer giving away Intel® kits, but you can still participate!
If you already have an Intel® Edison board from our last promotion, recently participated in an Intel® IoT Roadshow, or bought your own Intel® Edison kit, here's how to get started:
In order to participate in the Invitational, you first need to fill out this form and tell us what you are going to make with the Intel Edison and custom dev kit. This application will guarantee you a spot in the Intel® IoT Invitational.
After your idea has been approved to participate in the Invitational and you've published your Instructable, submit it to the Invitational for your chance to win BIG PRIZES like a Canon 7D Mark II kit, a Sony Action Cam, a Rigol Oscilloscope, a Hakko Soldering Station, Sparkfun Giftcards, Shapeways Giftcards and MORE!
To have your project considered for some of these AMAZING PRIZES just publish your Instructable that includes an Intel Edison between 8/31/15 and 11/09/15 and add it to this contest page.
The Intel® IoT Invitational is closed.

Write an Instructable
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Aug 31, 2015 and Nov 9, 2015 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Intel® IoT Invitational. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
Instructables members can vote for an entry during the contest plus 3 days after the contest closes.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be announced here on the contest page. All entrants will be notified when this happens.
