Share your skills in our Halloween photo editing challenge! Use any image editor you like to spookify your images, and create a Step-by-Step Instructable to teach the rest of us how you made it happen.
We've teamed up with the free online image editor Pixlr this Halloween to find the best Halloween-themed photo-editing Instructables. We're giving away two iPads for Instructables with images featuring creepy people or a spooky scene, and 10 runners-up will win an Eye-Fi wireless memory card.
Project Requirements:
- submit a Step-by-Step Instructable (video and photo Instructables will not be accepted)
- demonstrate a Halloween themed photo manipulation
- include a before and after image
- include in-process screenshots and tool descriptions so others can repeat your process
- any photo editing tool is eligible

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to US, Canada (excluding Quebec), UK, and Australia . Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PDT, October 17, 2011.
Requirements
Submit
Submit a new Step By Step Instructable (video and photo Instructables will not be accepted) that demonstrates a Halloween themed photo manipulation and includes a before and after image of your manipulated photo. Instructables must be published from September 26, 2011 to October 17, 2011 (11:59pm PT).
Enter
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select the Photo Editing Challenge. It will also show up below.
Accepting
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day (M-F). What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
Voting
Instructables members can vote for an entry during the contest plus 3 days after the contest closes.
Judging
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
Winners
When the winners are decided they will be announced here on the contest page. All entrants will be notified when this happens.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Sep 26, 2011 and Oct 17, 2011 (11:59pm PT).
