What does it take to win the Survival Challenge?

Create a step by step, video or photo Instructable that demonstrates your keen survival skills. We're looking for your Instructables on topics such as working with paracord, building a shelter, making fire and more! Put MacGyver to shame with your Instructable and you could win some amazing prizes!

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to entries from US and Canadian addresses (excluding Quebec), UK, and Australia. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PT, October 17, 2011.

Grand Prize

Grand Prize (3)

Three Grand Prize winners will receive a Teton Sports Scout Frame Backpack, Leatherman Juice XE6, 100ft of Paracord, and a SAS Survival Handbook along with an Instructables Prize Pack.

Runner Up (5)

Five runner up winners will receive a Leatherman Juice CS4 along with an Instructables Prize Pack.
How It Works

Write an Instructable

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Sep 12, 2011 and Oct 17, 2011 (11:59pm PT).

Accepting

Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.

Judging

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
