Cousin of R2D2

This is one of the four cakes that was produced during a one day cake event having totally amateur participants for having fun at modamutfakmodamutfak in Istanbul. This cake with banana and M&Ms as filling is covered with white and red whipped cream and jelly candies. "R2D2s cousin" cake is made by Oktor. modamutfak events are initiated by roomservicesroomservices

Step 1: Basics

Step 2: Infill

prepare your filling, we used smashed bananas and M&Ms and spread it between every layer

Step 3: Construction

four circular cakes and two smaller circles on top of it makes our miniature R2D2's basic structure

Step 4: Covering

Whip 50gr cream with a mixer until it gets very thick. Spare a small cup for the upper red coloring. Spread the white cream all over our small robot-to-be . Spread red colored cream on the upper part.

Step 5: Final Touch

add different sized and shaped jelly candies on your robot-to-be . we suggest you to google for R2D2 pics to make a close to real appearance. (well of course it'd be better to use blue instead of red in the first place when talking about reality but that's another matter.)
And after adding the candies put it in the fridge for an hour and enjoy afterwards!!
