Grinch Cocktail

This Grinch-colored cocktail is made with midori, a melon liqueur. It's sour and sweet and really refreshing to drink. :)

I almost wanted to call this this Fallout cocktail because it looks so radioactive, but I guess that's not very festive!

Step 1: Ingredients:

• 2 oz midori
• 1/2 oz lemon, lime or pineapple juice
• 1/4 oz  simple syrup

What you choose to use will make the drink more transparent or opaque. Lemon and pineapple juice will make it a little more cloudy - but I went with sweetened lime juice which kept it more clear. :D

I think it looks great in martini glasses, but you can double the recipe to serve it in a deeper or wider glass!

Step 2: Mix the Drink

Put a couple handfuls of ice into a shaker and pour over the midori, juice of choice and simple syrup.

Shake well and pour into a glass.

Step 3: Enjoy!

I'm not one for garnishes, but I think this would look pretty great rimmed with colored sugar or maybe with some maraschino cherries. :D
