Introduction: How to Make a Phaser Remote Holder
In this instructable, I will be teaching you all how to make a phaser remote controller holder to put tv remotes in. I will be using blender to make the model, and you can print one out using a 3-d printer.
Step 1: Step 1: Making the Base
Making the base is extremely important because otherwise, the model won't stand upright. To do this, We should import a cube to blender and use the scale transformer manipulator on the bottom toolbar. this can be accessed by clicking the tri-colored symbol on the bottom row. Then use the manipulator to make the make the cube a thin rectangular prism.
Step 2: Step 2: Making the Handle
To make the handle for the phaser, we have to put a rectangular prism for the handle and two more thinner ones for the deco on the side. Remember to put them to a slant with the rotate tool in the tri colored icon in the bottom row( same place where the scale tool is).
Step 3: Step 3: Making the Trigger and the Back of Phaser
To make the trigger, you have to get a sphere from the import menu and modify the shape so it's more like a 3-d oval. then make it smaller and rotate it to a angle a little less than the handle. Then you need to get a cube and stretch it into a long rectangular prism. After that, stick it onto the back of the trigger.
Step 4: Step 4: Adding the Front of the Phaser
For this step, all you have to do is make another rectangular prism for the remote holder of the phaser and a rectangular prism to the front.
Step 5: Step 5: Adding the Side "bars" for the Remote Holder
Adding the side bars are easy; all you have to do is grab a couple planes from the import menu and resize them to fit the side of the upper base's back.
Step 6: Step 6: Adding the Final Touch
Finally, the last step in the building process, building the "barrel" of the phaser. For this step, I added two cylinders, one bigger, and put them inside each other. Then, Finally, I put a small cylinder in and finished the project.
Step 7: Conclusion
Now, all you have to do print it with your 3-d printer. If you don't have one, never fear, some libraries have them and you can send your designs to them. You can put your remote controller in side the top base compartment.Thank you, and Ta Ta for now!!
