Introduction: How to Repair a Shoe From Abraision
I have been doing this for a while but it just occurred to me that other people might have a use for this.
my shoes wear down a lot from skating and this is how I fix that problem.

Step 1: Gather Your Materials
you will need :
glue stick(s) depending on how much glue is needed
a lighter
some tea lights (one with candle in it and one without )
pop-sickle sticks
wire cutters
a heat source.
what I used as a heat source is just some uninsulated wire bent around in a fashion that will hold a tea light holder in place suspended above another tea light. it is important that the top tea light doesn't move or rotate freely in the stand.

Step 2: Cut the Glue Stick
using the wire cutters cut the glue stick into tiny pieces so it will melt faster.
Step 3: Melting
add those tiny bits of glue to the tea light without a candle in it and light the other tea light.
stir until there are no lumps in the glue.

Step 4: Add Glue to the El Shoe
with the popsickle stick neatly smear the glue where the rubber on the shoe was.
once the glue has cooled take your lighter and go around the edges, heat them up, lick your finger and smooth the edges...
this step is optional but it prevents any peeling of the glue.
also you can add a little bit of crayon to the mixture to add color. But the more crayon you add the more brittle your final product will be.
