Spooky 3D Jack O' Lantern

My Entry for the 3D Creation Systems Jack o' Lantern challenge. I modeled it in Sketchup Make 2013. The shape is derived from a section of a sphere, modified and copied to create the body. The stalk is derived from a polygon, modified and extruded along a path with the follow-me tool. The face was designed in 2 dimensions and extruded straight out, then positioned inside the pumpkin and intersected, then the excess was removed to leave the face in the wall of the pumpkin. The design of the face is arbitrary, and can be changed easily.
