Introduction: Bacon Breakfast Bowls

About: Jack of all trades, master of none. Father, husband, creator.

Do you love Bacon? Silly question. Here is a neat twist on a traditional breakfast snack. These take the same time as it takes to prepare any form of bacon, and makes a very attractive presentation. I hope you enjoy this Instructable, please comment and make suggestions. Enjoy

Step 1: What You Will Need

Bacon (streaky)
Eggs
Cheese
Milk
Sausage
Hash browns
Aluminum foil
Beer cans or other tall round oven safe container

Step 2: Wrap the Cans

Wrap the cans in aluminum foil and stand them upright on a baking pan. Make sure you cover the pan, as there will be a lot of grease.

Step 3: Start the Weave

Drape 3 strips of bacon over the top covered can. You can also add some non stick backing spray the cans to help with removal later.

Step 4: Finish the Weave

Weave two or more strips around the can to form the raw bowl. The tighter the weave the better. The bacon will shrink, and for a sturdy bowl, you'll need a strong connection.

Step 5: Love the Smell of Bacon in the Morning

Cook in the oven at high temperature until the bacon is crispy. If you under cook the bacon, the bowls will not hold their shape.

Step 6: Patience.....

Let the bacon cool for about 10 minutes. squeeze and manipulate the cans a little to help the bowls slide off.

Step 7:

While the bacon bowls are cooking, scramble some eggs (i use cheese and milk in mine) and cook some sausages and hash browns. Place a sausage in the bowl, fill with scrambled eggs, and a hash brown on the side. You can fill them with whatever you wannt. Maybe some mini ceaser salads?

These are simple to make and take no time at all. Enjoy.
