Introduction: Beme: Share Video. Honestly.

About: A little bit of this... A little bit of that!

*i am not associated with the app in any way, I am merely a user*

Beme is a new social media app released late last week. The app allows other people to see the world through your eyes. The app works by letting you share short 4 second clips of any thing you want, to a reasonable extent(explicit content not aloud, etc.). You can share as many clips as you want, but they have to be four seconds no shorter no longer. Another catch is you cannot review, edit, or edit the footage. This allows you to share "real". You know how some people take selfies a thousand times just to get one good one? This defeats that. It makes you share what you would really see if you were there. On the other side of things, the viewing side, the interface is extremely easy. Just like other social media platforms, you follow people and people follow you back. The app started with a few beta users and it spreads by means of codes. This means it acts kind of like a club. You have to know someone who has it or meet someone who does. This started with s few thousand people but in the last week or so it has grown drastically. (if you like the idea of the app leave s comment and I can provide one) so back to the user side, when viewing your followers post, they appear as little bars with the name of the user, the location the Beme was taken, and how long ago it was captured. To view a Beme, simply hold your finger on the one you would like to view and don't let go, the Beme will play through and return you to the main view, if you lift your finger before it is done it will disappear. For good. You can only view each Beme once. Now how you "like" or show how you felt about it, well you literally show how you felt. While viewing a Beme slightly move your finger on the screen, without letting go, this will pull up a small view from your front facing camera. If the Beme made you happy, tap the "reaction" box with a different finger than the one playing the video to take a quick selfie. The person who posted the Beme will be able to see your reaction along with a snapshot of what part you reacted at. Cool right? Now back to sharing video. To share video simply place the screen side of your phone against your chest, chin, wall, or really any other object. Get creative with this! Remember the view from where your phone is placed is the view the people will see. So if you place the phone against your chest, your followers will get to see a first person view! If you want to take a selfie, do like co-founder Casey Neistat says and place your phone against a wall. This will allow you to look at your camera directly.
