Step 1: 3D Modeling and Flat Pattern

First we do 3D modeling using CAD software. We add features in the modeling like holes and openings.

Next step is the flat pattern of the modeling. We export the flat pattern drawing in dxf format using it for the next step.

Step 2: CNC Programming and Sheet Metal Punching Using CNC Machines

Step 3: Sheet Metal Folding

Step 4: Final Product

    The process is simply.

    3D modeling through CAD software like Autodesk Inventor --> Generate the flat pattern of the 3D model into a 2D boundary area --> Import the dxf file of the flat pattern into a CAM software--> Generate the Gcode programm for the CNC punching machine--> Make the plan of the manufacturing process --> Manufacturing through CNC punching machine--> Create the box through bending machines
