These cardboard gun props are a fun and inexpensive way if you want to film a video or use it for Halloween with a costume.

Step 1: Materials

You'll need duct tape, a ruler, a pencil, a knife, scissors and of course: cardboard.

Step 2: Design and Cut

Using your pencil and ruler, draw your gun and cut it out with your knife and scissors (it's helpful to use your knife to cut out the hole where your finger goes through). You will need to cut out three identical guns which can be done by tracing the first one twice (the cardboard I used had one layer of that ruffle stuff, but if your cardboard is thicker you may only need two shapes cut out).

Step 3: Taping

Stack your cardboard guns on top of each other and then using duck tape, tape all of them together.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

If you're satisfied with the plain gun, it's finished, but if you want you can add touches like spray painting it or a PVC pipe scope taped to it or a little piece of cardboard at the end to look like a barrel, it's up to you! Add anything you want!
