Decorations with quotes or words are very popular. I'm going to show you today a simple method to create a beautiful centrepiece using simple materials and simple tools.

You can find all materials at the dollar store (except the paint) so it's very affordable.

Let's get started

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Contact paper

Scissors

String lights

Glass vase

A decoration (mine is a Cristmas tree)

Silver spray paint

Frosted spray paint

Paper

Marker

Step 2: Make Your Design

Start by writing your quote in the paper. When you're happy with how it looks, place it in front of the contact paper and cut it out.

Make sure you place your paper with the good side of the contact paper up. Or the letters will be mirrored.

Step 3: Stick the Letters

Once you have all your letters stick them in the vase. It should be upside down.

Step 4: Paint

Wipe the vase, because it has to be very clean and dry before painting it with the frosted spray paint. Once the paint has dried off, peel off the letters.
