Introduction: Creamed Spinach

About: Jack-of-all trades, master of some. I would probably be much more modest if it wasn't for these delusions of granduer that I suffer from.

A nice easy alternative way to serve up a heaping helping of leafy greens.

Step 1: Assemble Your Ingredients

This recipe makes enough for 8-12 people depending on serving size.  Scale the recipe to fit your needs.

1/2 cup butter
2 Tablespoons of flour
2 Teaspoons of minced garlic
2 cans of cream of celery soup
4 10oz packages of frozen chopped spinach
2 Tablespoons of chopped onion

Step 2: Cook

Steam the frozen spinach, and set it aside.

In a saucepan combine the butter, flour, garlic, and soup. Once the mixture is hot add in the Spinach and chopped onion.


Step 3: Plate and Serve

Once everything is combined together and heated through it is ready to make a nice side dish.
