Introduction: Creating Custom Windows Icons From Stardew Valley Images
The items from Stardew Valley make fantastic icons, but the following process can be used to make custom Windows icons from any of your favorite games. By downloading an open source (free) icon creation software (Greenfish Icon Editor Pro), you can create windows icon files easily. Icons from games with a detailed online Wiki are the easiest because you can right-click to save high quality images directly from the website, but you can also use screenshots from your game or Google Images. Most games allow screenshots to be taken in-game and then you can use the crop tool in Greenfish Icon Editor Pro to select your icon.
