Introduction: Crossbow

Hello, my name is Tyler Cole and I enjoy constructing and inventing things that work. Follow these seven simple steps to construct a working crossbow.

Supplies

1 hot glue gun

2 popsicle sticks

2 rubber bands

1 binder clip

1 roll of duct tape

Step 1: Crossbow

Go to a desk or table and gather supplies: 1 hot glue gun, 2 popsicle sticks, 2 rubber bands, one binder clip, 1 roll of duct tape

Step 2:

Cut one of the sticks in half with scissors.

Step 3:

Put glue on the tip of the long popsicle stick.

Step 4:

Place the two short popsicle sticks on the long popsicle stick to form the letter "V" upside down or an arrow.

Step 5:

Grab your rubber band and cut it in half. Tape one side of the rubber band to one side of the "V". Repeat with the other side of the rubber band.

Step 6:

When it is secure, place the binder clip, facing the rubber band, on the opposite side of the "V towards the bottom of the long popsicle stick.

Step 7:

Use a toothpick or pencil as an arrow to test your Crossbow. Place the rubber band around the object and pull the rubber band back and let go.Watch your object soar through the air!
