Introduction: Crown and Diamond Zipper Pull

good project for leftover bits of cordage. The pulls on the left started with one foot of cord. The right hand one took one and one half feet. After tightening about 2" of cord trimmed.

Step 1:

Make a small bight and tie an overhand knot.

Step 2:

Tie a second overhand knot around the bight as shown

Step 3:

Bring the left hand end across the knot on top

Step 4:

Bring the right hand end across the knot underneath

Step 5:

Bring the left hand end across and down through the opening as shown

Step 6:

Bring the right hand end underneath and up through the opening as shown

Step 7:

There are two small bights formed by the starting overhand knot. Bring the right hand end up through the right hand bight

Step 8:

and bring the left hand end doqwn through the left hand bight

Step 9:

Gradually tighten. To make this knot longer as in the right hand knot in the introduction repeat steps three through six. Each time you repeat you add one bar to the knot
