As the Evil Queen once asked, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the creepiest party accessory of all?" Well, it was at least something like that. It's a DIY Magic Mirror of course! There’s nothing like a spooky face staring ominously back at you from the cloudy depths of an old, foggy mirror.

If you're going to plan a Disney Villains Halloween party, you’re going to need to be ready to add the finishing touches to your party decorations. You can turn a thrifted mirror into a spooky prop for your Halloween party! Tara from Spot of Tea Designs styled and photographed (Check out her Instagram) this magical mirror!

Step 1: Materials

Old Mirror
Sand Paper
Decoupage
Magic Mirror Print out
Optional: Acrylic Paint & Paintbrush

Step 2: Starting the Mirror

Remove any cardboard backing from mirror frame. Turn mirror face down.

Use sandpaper and begin rubbing on back of mirror in a small circular motion. You will start to see the mirror material rubbing away.

Step 3: Adding the Printable

Continue rubbing to remove material. Less is more here as an unfinished rough edge makes for a creepier look. Keep looking at it from the front side to achieve desired look.

Wipe away any loose material and apply a coat of decoupage on back of frame. Lay magic mirror printable face down so that it will show through on the other side. Smooth with hand and remove all air bubbles. Apply a second coat of decoupage on the back of the printable.
