About: I’m Alex, a videographer, photographer and lover of technology.

In this article, I would like to share with you how to make the simplest tripod for a tablet or phone as quickly as possible. Such a tripod will be very handy to shoot video, because your tripod will be fixed and the camera will not shake.

Step 1: Tripod Parts - Bolts, Rubber Bands, Self-tapping Screws and Washers

In order to make a tripod you will need four bolts with nuts, two rubber bands, a pair of small screws and preferably six washers.

Step 2: Tripod Parts - Wooden Slats and a Stand

Next, you need to drill holes on the edges of the rails for the bolts. So that they enter freely, it is better to drill with a drill of a slightly larger diameter. In long rails, we drill holes in two edges, and in short rails only in one.

Step 3: Drill Holes in the Slats

You should get it like this.

Step 4: Connect the Rails With Bolts

Now you need to connect the rails with bolts and tighten them with nuts. It is advisable to put washers under the head of the bolt and nut, then they will not spoil the wood. Connect so that you have short rails at the edges. One will have a stand for the tablet, and the other will be fixed on a table or chair.

Step 5: Screw the Tablet Stand

Screw the stand to any short rail with screws and put on the rubber bands in which the tablet will be mounted.

Step 6: Ready-made Tripod

In the end, you should get such a tripod.
