Introduction: Fantastic Computer Developed Choco-vanilla-butter-cream Hedgehog!!!

About: I'm studying mechanical engineering I spend too much time in the workshop And of courseI like all kinds of machines !

In this instructable I will show how to computer-develop a very delicious choco hedgehog and bake it afterwards.

At first you should design your hedgehog (or whatever animal you like) with a CAD Program. In this case it is absolutely unneccecary to draw the product first, but if your cake is getting a more comlicated shape, you can just print it to cut the form out of the dough.
If you own a Cake Cutter than you can just cut the dough directly from the computer!

So here I just took the measures and cut out a cardboard-template.

Step 1: The Shortcrust

Now we will start with the shortcrust, the recipe is for about 8 hedgehogs:

50g Butter
30g Sugar
a pinch of salt
80g Flour

knead the shortcrust dough out of it, wrap it in aluminium foil and put it into the fridge for two hours.
After that you roll out the dough with a thickness of 5mm and use the cardboard to cut it in pieces.

Bake it at 200°C for 8-10 minutes.

Step 2: The Cream

Now we can start with the cream:

1/2 Sachet of blacmange powder
250ml Milk
1 Egg yolk
75g Sugar
125g Butter
3 Tablespoons of cocoa

Take the blacmange powder and mix it with 3 tablespoons of milk and the egg yolk. Heat up the rest of the milk with the sugar. If it is boiling, put the blacmange into the milk, mix it and boil it again.
Beat the butter until light and put it gently into the blacmange, when they have the same temperature.

If this is done, take aside some tablespoons of the cream and add the cocoa to the rest of it.

Step 3: Forming the Hedgehogs

Now you have to put the cream on top of the shortcrusts. Just take a spoon and form the hedgehogs, if youre done, stick almond slivers into the hedgehogs to have them barbed. Now you have to put them into the fridge for an hour.

Step 4: Chocolate!

You're nearly done, now just heat up 200g of chocolate coating and give natural colour to the hedgehogs. Wait until the coating has cooled down, and decorate the hedghogs with the cream you took aside a few steps before.

Congratulations to your first computer developed choco-vanilla-butter-cream hedgehogs!!!!

Yummy Yummy!
