Hello everyone

In this diy i will show you how to make Daenerys' dragon egg from the series Game of thrones.

I really love this serie so i start making the egg and thought "wait I can put this on instructables" so i did

this egg wasn't hard to make at all so everyone can do this. :)

For all the Game of thrones lovers and also those who don't love GOT enjoy making this little piece of art :)

what do you need:

- clay - Tape

- cardboard - paint

- newspaper -

Step 1: Step 1

For this step all you need are newspapers and some tape.

- start making one big ball and one small ball and tape the newspaper pieces togetter with tape like you can see on the picture.

Step 2: Step 2

- Put your small ball on top of your big ball and tape them togetter. fill up the space on the edges and tape everything togetter like you see on the picture to make the shape of an egg.

Step 3: Step 3

- Take some clay and flat it with the palm of your hand.

you can make some texture with the cap of an old pencil. And put on top of your egg ( It doesn't matter it doens't look neat because you will add some scales later)

Step 4: Step 4

Now it is time to add the scales. You can make a '' scale cutter'' out of some cardboard like you see on the picture.

Make sure you place the scales pointing with their point to the clay piece you've put on earlier (see step 3).

and let this all dry for about 2 days to make sure it's completely dry

Step 5: Step 5

Now it is time to paint your egg. If you studie the actual egg in the serie you see the eggs have a sort of ombre effect. you can use whatever paint you like. I used waterpaint because it has a beautiful mat effect.

Step 6: Final Product

And your egg is done
