Gameday Dish: Mango Salsa Sweet & Spicy Dip

Hey y'all!

In this instructable I want to teach you how to make an awesome crowd pleaser! This sweet and spicy mango dip won't last long at a party so enjoy it while you can. There are so many flavors in this dish which incorporate to make a perfect sweet, fresh, savory and spicy taste all in one. Combine it with your favorite tortilla chips and this recipe is sure to be a hit at any gameday meetup! Step 1: Ingredients

4 mangos
1 red bell pepper
1 jalapeño
½ red onion
4 garlic cloves
3 limes
2 T cilantro
Sugar (if your mangos are not sweet)
Salt and pepper

Step 2: Prepare the Mangos (The Star of the Show)

To begin, wash all the produce. Start off by peeling your mango, (I use a fruit peeler to avoid cutting myself) the mangos are peeled, cut the mango flesh into small cubes and add them to a large serving bowl.

Step 3: Continue Chopping: Red Bell Peppers

First chop the top off of the red bell pepper and pull the core out. Next, cut the red bell peppers into small cubes and add to the bowl.

Step 4: Continue Chopping: Red Onions, Jalapeño, Cilantro

Repeat the process with the red onions, jalapeños and cilantro. Add them all to your large serving bowl.

Step 5: Press Garlic and Add Lime Juices

Using a garlic press, press your garlic into the bowl with the rest of your ingredients. Add the juices of a freshly cut lime into the mix. This will give it a little bit of a fresh and zesty taste!

Step 6: Season and Toss Gently

Season with salt, pepper and sugar to your liking. Toss everything gently until it is combined well. You want a little bit of everything in each bite and not too much of everything so just mix for a minute or so and it will come together nicely!
